Moving on.

I’ve had this Blog a little while now! When i’m in a good place I Blog quite regularly and I do enjoy it! I also have another Blog about my arty shenanigans! Having two Blogs can be quite challenging but I think I’m doing ok! The thing is I might be adding another Blog to the collection……which is presenting a little problem!

Can I really keep up with 3 Blogs? The honest truth is I don’t think that I can! Little red crafting corner is for all my crafty exploits except all i do is knit….knit knit knit haha! I’m also hoping to get my Etsy store back up and running properly soon! I’ve been working hard on lots of new designs and really trying to work on it as a business and not just a hobby! So my idea is to keep my arty Blog because, well, thats about art! I will then open a new Blog about my knitting!! So it might be time to say goodbye to little red crafting corner!

If I do go down this road I hope that you will all follow me! It’s pretty much going to be exactly the same except it will have a name that is more like what its about (knit knit knit)!! It will be like a nice fresh start for us all!!  Do you think this is a good idea? I’m never very good at this sort of decision! I was going to add some funny photos to the bottom of this post but i’m working from my new Mac and i’m still trying to get to grips with it……so yeah….sorry about that!!

Oh hello there, nice to see you again :-)

Sooooooooooooooooooooo it’s been a million years since I blogged on here!! I feel that I need to apologise!! The end of July is a hard time for me as it is the Anniversary of my Dad passing away.  I’ve also had ALOT on with work……..ALOT!!! But I have actually managed a little crafting so the next Blog I do will be a nice little catch up with photos and everything!!

Anyway that is all for today, please stick with me and I will see you all soon 🙂

A not very crafy post!

Hello one and all 🙂

I’ve mainly been working on knitting cardigan’s for my cousin’s little boy’s Teddy bears! I have no clue if that sentence is grammatically correct but you get the picture 😉 Anyway i’m almost done with them now! They just need to be sewn together and posted all the way to Switzerland!! I still haven’t quite finished the baby blanket but that’s because of a lot of fiddly sewing!!

I don’t know if any of you saw on the news about the Sea Odyssey spectacular that was in Liverpool a couple of weeks a go? It was based on a true story about the Titanic! It involved GIANT mechanical robot type things walking around Liverpool to music……..i realise how mad this makes me sound but I have proof…….

Can you see it? It probably doesn’t look that big yet……..

ImageThis bad boy is about 50ft tall!! You really don’t get a sense of how big it is until you see it in real life!! It walked for miles all around Liverpool! I only got to see a tiny bit of it as it walked past my street!! There was also a girl giant who was about 20ft tall and a dog too! The event ran over 3 days and the giants had beds to sleep in and everything! The man giant was trying to find the girl giant and in the end they did! They sailed off together!! The story is quite complicated but if you google Liverpool Sea Odysey I’m sure it will explain better than I can 😛

These photos are taken from my local park! I nearly didn’t go and see it but I’m glad I did now 🙂 It was nice to see something like this outside of the City Center!!

And here is a photo of a nice Blossom tree as the giant says good bye 🙂

Well that is all for now! I hope you are all doing well!!

Knitting, painting, drawing, planting, cross stitching……..

Hello everyone 🙂

This may be the shortest post in the history of my posts 😛 I’ve been swamped in work and trying to fit in my millions of knitting projects (ok 3!) whilst also trying to draw and paint more, finish my lovely cross stitch and also sort out our backyard so we have a nice space for the summer!!

The knitting projects are going ok but slower than I had planned!! I’ve been trying to knit a bunny (photos to follow in the next post), I thought it would only take me a couple of days but I’ve still got its arms and ears to do……and don’t even start me on the face!! I have a baby blanket to complete but I still have a couple of months to do that so pphheeewwww!! Then my cousins boys are after clothes for their Teddy Bears! I’ve still got a cardigan to do……it took me ages to find one that would (hopefully) fit!!

The planting will be fun when we get going! So far we have bought Gladioli, lilies, red-hot pokers, dahlias and some other pretty flowers 🙂 Oh and I have some potatoes to put in the potato grow bag my mum got me!! My faves are the red-hot pokers.

Aren’t they lovely? I can#t wait until they grow!!I will be taking lots of photos of their progress 😀

So there we go! Take care and have a lovely week!!

The Craft Room from Hell!

When we moved in to our new house I was given a room all to myself! I can decorate it how I like and put whatever I want in there!! I decided this was to be my craft room.  I had dreams of having a dedicated space to my craft stuff, full of fun, colourful, quirky, kitsch things! Instead this is what I have……..

My poor little craft room!

Clutter clutter

This is really not what I was planning 😛 Bags of wool, notebooks (I’m addicted to buying pretty notebooks), sketch books, scrapbooks……..the list goes on!! I will get this cleaned up though!! I will have to as I have so many cool things to find homes for!! If I pay you…will someone come round and HELP?? 😛

On the knitty side of things, I’m working on a couple of hats for a couple of bears! They are going well! I decided to try a couple of new patterns so god knows how they will end up but here is what I have so far…..

My little bear hat!

I’ll let you work out what part of the hat it is 😉
