Lilac Lovely followed with a dash of FO Friday!!

So I’m trying something new today….FO Friday (Finished Object Friday!)

So I have a couple of things I’ve finished off this week (makes a change :-P) But I chose this Lilac Lovely Media case thingy I’ve been trying to do for a while!!

Lilac Lovely!

I’m not a huge fan of lilac and I do find it hard to work with colours im not really in to 😛 I made the pattern up myself and it didn’t take too long to do the main body (it’s just all Knit stitches!!). The Flower originally started as circles that went wrong! I came up with the idea of the flowers and it gave me a chance to use the really cute little buttons I recently got!! You can’t really tell in this photo but its Glittery (the button I mean!!).

Lilac Lovely Back!

I’m not sure if I should start adding decorations to the back….what do you think? What do you think of the colour too? Or is it just me who has something against lilac!?! 😛

To see other FO Fridays visit Tami’s Amis and check them out! There are some very cute projects happening right now!!

I also updated my Etsy Shop (Snow Bunnys Knits) again! Twice in one week….there must be something in the water!! I’m hoping I can squeeze a third in before I have to go back to work!

See, purples of any shade I love 😉

Looks fab to me, if you are worried about the back – what about another flower? Or some buttons? I like it as is 🙂

Looks like it turned out well, and the flower finishes it off nicely. Well done, even if that wasn’t your intent in the beginning. Sometimes our projects have plans of their own.
    Happy FOFriday

Thanks for participating in FO Friday!

I actually love all shades of purple so I think the color is great. I’d leave the back alone, and just keep the front with the flower/button. It gives it a definite front and back to it.

So cute! The flower is a great touch, I really like the colors together, and I agree with Tami that the plain back is just fine. In other words, it’s pretty perfect just as it is!

That case is adorable, and I especially love that the flowers are repurposed false starts—resourceful and a really sweet decoration!

I think that the back shouldn’t have anything 3D on it. It won’t sit flat if you put another flower on it. Maybe you could embroider it, or maybe add fabric applique.
